When the classrooms are cancelled, send em to kayak school!

That’s what Level Six is saying when they’re offering to send 13 kids to kayak schools on full scholarship in 2020.Level Six is thinking that if the future of the sport is the youth, then there is no better way to share the passion and love for paddling and the outdoors than by simply getting them on the water—we agree.

They’ve selected a few different schools across Canada and the US for kids to apply to. The schools include, Ottawa River Runners in Ottawa, Ontario; Madawaska Kanu Centre in Barry’s Bay, Ontario; Aquabatics Calgary in Calgary, Alberta; Zoar Outdoors in Charlemont, Massachusetts; and Endless River Adventures in Bryson City, North Carolina. Transportation to the schools is not included, so applicants are encourage to apply to schools close to their region that they’re willing to travel to.

The application process includes personal information and a short essay on why you would like to try whitewater paddling.
